This evening 5 mile adventure starts with an amazing overlook at Liberty Memorial, then trekking down the hill past Union Station. We weave through the culturally diverse area of the Westside. We learn about the historical West Bottoms, as well as the Pendergast era in addition to experiencing alleyways lined with street art. We get a beautiful view of the sunset from a bridge in the Westside and see a glowing KC skyline. This hike is full of Instagramable spots and hidden Kansas City gems. This won’t be a leisurely stroll in flip flops, as we go up some steep hills and staircases. You'll need good walking or running shoes and your water bottle!
