Embark on a transformative 5-day Ayahuasca retreat in the Sacred Valley, Cusco, Peru. Guided by experienced healers from the Shipibo and Qero tribes, this retreat combines traditional Inca and Amazonian practices with modern medical safety. Over five days, participate in three Ayahuasca ceremonies, Munay (love) meditation, and various healing rituals. The retreat is overseen by a multidisciplinary health team, including a cardiologist, psychiatrist, psychologist, and general practitioner, ensuring your safety throughout the experience.
Your journey begins with a meeting at Plaza Nazarenas, followed by a shuttle bus ride to the retreat centre. The retreat includes individual consultations with shamans and psychologists, group meetings to share experiences, and small group sizes for personalised attention. Engage in four different healing ceremonies, including the Inca shamanic technique “dancing with heaven and earth,” a coca leaves ceremony, a cleansing and floral ceremony, and an offering of gratitude to Pachamama (Mother Earth).
In addition to the spiritual practices, participate in two volunteering activities, helping children from disadvantaged communities, caring for neglected dogs, or cultivating native plants for reforestation. Enjoy group walks in the surrounding hills, full-body massages, and accommodation in shared bedrooms with vegetarian meals provided.
Please note that a letter from your doctor outlining your health status is mandatory. If you cannot provide this, a check-up in Cusco is required at an additional cost. Arrive at least two days before the retreat to acclimatise to the altitude. Book your own hotel for the acclimatisation period, and feel free to reach out for recommendations regarding suitable accommodation.
