What you can expect

Enjoy this half day trip to the Inca heartland. See the Maras Salt Mines and the Inca ruins at Moray.

Start your day with either pickup from your hotel or a central meeting point. Enjoy a 40-minute ride through the beautiful scenery of the Andes. You'll arrive first at the Inca ruins of Moray. Marvel at its enormous terraces in the shape of a coliseum.

Next, your tour will move on to the Maras Salt Mines. Admire this complex of nearly 3000 wells. Learn about ancient mining techniques from the locals, and maybe even try your hand at some yourself.

After your visit, it’s time to sit back, relax, and enjoy the journey back to city centre Cusco.
