Bear watching Slovakia invites you on a guided cycling adventure through the most beautiful and scenic valley of the High Tatras.

Enjoy a day of cycling surrounded by untouched nature, towering peaks and deep forests. Ride on well-maintained roads, with fantastic opportunities for wildlife spotting — deer, chamois, and even bears using powerful binoculars.

PROGRAM:

13:00 – Meeting at the car park in front of Permon
13:00 – 14:30 – Cycling through the valley in the Western Tatras, approx. 1.5 hours up to one of the three adjacent Tatra valleys (Western Tatras) to the bear spotting places
14:30 – 19:00 – Arriving at wild bear viewing sites with the best chances of spotting a brown bear. Combined with an explanation about the life of bears in the valley and training on how to behave in an encounter with a bear.
20:00 – 21:00 – The way back along the cycling trail to the car park at Podbanske.
