    On day 1, start at Magomeni Market, wandering through lively stalls of spices, vegetables, and handmade crafts. Sample mangos or passionfruit while chatting with vendors. Move to Manzese for a guided walk through this vibrant area, visiting a community centre and hearing local stories.

    Enjoy a budget lunch at Eshe Buheti serving local African buffet meals, savouring chapati with beans or grilled mishkaki. Visit a small dhow-making workshop near Kivukoni harbour to see artisans craft traditional boats.
