Praia de Benagil

  • 1h
  • Admission ticket included
Benagil Sea Cave is a spectacular natural limestone cave with a large circular opening at the top, formed by the constant erosion of ocean waves over thousands of years. Its stunning light effects and hidden sandy beach make it one of the Algarve’s most famous and photographed sea caves. We highly recommend taking a boat or kayak trip to enhance your overall experience and explore the cave up close.

Algar Seco

  • 2h
Algar Seco & Dolls Face Cave: Algar Seco, near Carvoeiro, is a beautiful area of natural limestone cliffs, caves, and rock formations shaped by ocean erosion over time. The Dolls Face Cave is a smaller, charming cave within this area. Wooden walkways and stairs make it easy to explore and enjoy spectacular views, making it a popular spot for hiking and photography.

Lagos (Pass by)

Lagos Old Town has a rich history shaped by its Moorish past and its role during the Age of Discoveries. The Moors ruled the region for several centuries, leaving behind architectural influences like narrow streets and fortifications. In the 15th and 16th centuries, Lagos became an important maritime port and was one of the first European towns involved in the transatlantic slave trade. The town housed a notorious slave market where enslaved people were bought and sold before being shipped to the Americas. Today, Lagos Old Town is a vibrant mix of historic walls, cobbled streets, beautiful churches, and lively markets, offering visitors a glimpse into its complex and fascinating past.

Ponta da Piedade

  • 30m
Ponta da Piedade is a breathtaking headland near Lagos, famous for its dramatic golden limestone cliffs, sea caves, and natural arches carved by the Atlantic Ocean over thousands of years. The crystal-clear turquoise waters below reveal stunning rock formations and hidden grottos, making it a favourite spot for boat tours, kayaking, and hiking. Its panoramic views and unique landscape make Ponta da Piedade one of the Algarve’s most iconic natural attractions.

Praia Dona Ana

  • 1h
Praia Dona Ana is a beautiful beach near Lagos, known for its calm, clear waters and striking sandstone cliffs that have been naturally sculpted by the sea and wind. The sheltered cove makes it perfect for swimming, snorkelling, and relaxing, while the vibrant colours of the cliffs create a stunning backdrop. It’s one of the most picturesque beaches in the Algarve and easily accessible from Lagos town.
