What you can expect

Enjoy a drive from Munich to the largest Bavarian Lake: the Chiemsee. On the way there will be plenty of short breaks for taking in the beautiful scenery. Take a boat ride to Herreninsel and learn of this breathtaking Island, on which stands a replica of the castle of Versaille. Enjoy a guided tour of this fantastic island dating back to the time of King Ludwig II, and take in the sights of the lakes surrounding it.

After your tour there will be time to see the Augustian Monastery. Afterwards, you will continue by boat to the Fraueninsel. Here, there will be time to visit the Benedictine church. Finish the day with a gentle stroll around this stunning area, indulge in the area's fine foods, swim in the clear waters, or simply relax before we go back by boat.
