This full-day cooking workshop is designed for passionate cooks, professional chefs, and culture enthusiasts who want to dive deeper into Indian cuisine. With years of experience hosting cooking workshops, this warm and welcoming couple realised that a single cooking session often leaves participants wanting more. So, they created a day-long immersive experience, perfect for those eager to explore the rich flavours and techniques of Indian cooking.
During this workshop, you’ll learn to prepare 7-8 authentic dishes and get to taste around 12 traditional foods, including both vegetarian and non-vegetarian delicacies.
This workshop is customisable to suit your food preferences. Whether you’re a fan of traditional recipes or looking for ways to recreate these dishes in your own kitchen, the couple goes the extra mile to ensure your experience is as enjoyable as it is educational. They’ll share their unique tips & tricks for enhancing flavours.
This entire class can be tailored to your preferences, whether it's about menu adjustments, timing, or any other specific requests you have in mind. Once the class is booked, your host will have a detailed discussion with you to understand your taste and preferences. They will help you choose the perfect menu based on your choices.
Step into their cosy home around 10 AM, where you’ll be greeted with a cup of coffee or chai paired with a popular Indian sweet. After a brief introduction and friendly chat, they’ll walk you through the day’s plan.
Around 10:30 AM, roll up your sleeves for your first cooking session.
Enjoy a traditional Indian Veg Thali for lunch, featuring:
1 Seasonal Veggie
1 Potato Dish
1 Paneer Dish
Dal Tadka or Makhni
Zeera Rice
Puri (fried bread)
Raita (Flavoured yoghurt)

Alternatively, you can opt for a Chhola Bhatura menu, featuring:

After lunch, relax for an hour before returning to the kitchen for light preparations for dinner, such as frying onions, marinating ingredients.

Around 4:30 PM enjoy a refreshing cup of masala chai paired with pakoras (fritters) and a homemade street snack like chaat.

The final and most exciting part of the day starts after tea. Prepare an iconic Indian dinner, featuring:
A non-veg curry of your choice (e.g., Butter Chicken, Korma, Nihari, Rogan Josh etc)
1 Seasonal Veggie
Kebabs or Tikka
2 Types of Bread
Chicken or Mutton Biryani
A homemade Indian dessert

Dinner will be a time to bringing together all that you’ve learned and cooked throughout the day.
