What you can expect

Meeting point: In front of the tram stop “La Goteta”.

Route: About 5 km through the Sierra Grossa, a little-known local mountain that offers amazing landscapes and spots full of history.

Highlights:
• Please note that the route in Serra Grossa is in a rocky mountain area. There's a small section where you'll need to climb slightly for about 7 metres. The descent is also along a path with uneven and rocky terrain.
• Walk along paths surrounded by Mediterranean vegetation.
• Info about local history and geological curiosities of the surroundings.
• Panoramic views from the top: Alicante city, Santa Barbara Castle, the Mediterranean coast, Cabo de Santa Pola, and even, on clear days, the island of Tabarca.

End of the route: Return to the tram stop “La Goteta - Plaza Mar 2”, near the Plaza Mar 2 shopping centre. Alternatively, we can end at the “La Sangueta” tram stop.
