Explore Dortmund's 'beery' soul and taste it at the same time: On this tour, you'll follow in the footsteps of the now over 700-year-old and important beer tradition. From the time of industrialisation through the 1950s and 60s, when Dortmund became Europe's beer capital, to the present, when a lot is happening to revive Dortmund's old glory. And you can see the good stuff for yourself during this tour.

Where are we going?
We start at the Dortmund U-Turm, the venue for the Dortmund Beer Festival since 2016. After a short stop in the foyer of the Unique Hotel, the former headquarters of Brau und Brunnen, we'll stop at Hövels Hausbrauerei. Passing the Bierkutscher monument and through Brauhausstraße, we'll first come to the headquarters of the Stade brewery and finally to the “Wenkers” cellar at the Alter Markt.
