Experience the history of Cary with this guided historic tour of the city's city centre. Until very recently, Cary underwent an immense transformation from a small bedroom community into one of the most dynamic and fastest growing cities in the American South.

However, even before the city's transformation, it was still known as a city whose brainpower outpaced its size: known for its innovative inhabitants and its commitment to education. On our tour, join us on an adventure through the history of one of North Carolina's most prolific inventors, the rise of one of the oldest public school's in the South, and the creation of one of the first integrated social clubs in America.
