The “Ponale” is an extraordinary visiting card for this proposal. In the past it was the only access road to Val di Ledro, and was obtained by digging into the rock along the sides of our fjord. It takes us to pedal in complete safety overlooking Lake Garda, surprising us at every bend, both on the uphill and then on the downhill stages. A crime to come to Garda without visiting it; we warn that it can be addictive. We will then enter the Val di Ledro, initially along a narrow gorge crossed by the Ponale stream, which will then open up in front of us showing us its beautiful alpine lake. As with Lake Tenno, on the hottest days it will be difficult to resist the temptation to take a dip in its crystal clear waters.
