What you can expect

  • Your Amazon adventure begins with a journey deep into the Ecuadorian rainforest to Cuyabeno, one of Ecuador's most extraordinary wildlife destinations. Upon arrival, you'll meet your local Kichwa guide, who will accompany you throughout the entire experience and share his knowledge of the rainforest, wildlife, and ancestral culture with you.

    You'll canoe down the Cuyabeno River and its various tributaries, where you can spot pink river dolphins, monkeys, sloths, birds, caimans, and other Amazonian species. You'll also explore the rainforest on guided hikes, discovering the jungle, animal tracks, insects, and the fascinating relationships between the forest and the Kichwa people.

    You'll also enjoy peaceful paddling canoe trips, which will allow you to silently enter the flooded forest and observe wildlife without disturbing it.
