You will then continue with a visit to the Mayan community of Hubiku, where you will enter a typical local house and learn about the meaning of Mayan numbers and the traditions that are still alive today.
During the experience, you will watch handmade tortillas being prepared and will have the opportunity to taste the famous cochinita pibil, one of the most iconic dishes of Yucatecan cuisine. Tastings of local honey and tequila are also included.
The experience continues with a visit to an underground cave, an evocative setting reminiscent of the ancient Mayan underworld. Inside, there is a cenote where you can take a dip in its fresh, crystal-clear water.
Lunch will be a buffet at a restaurant serving regional Yucatecan cuisine.
