Travel across Crete from north to southwest on a fully private day focused on reaching Elafonisi comfortably and at the right time of day.

Because of the island’s size, the journey itself becomes part of the experience. The route crosses changing landscapes — coastal plains, mountain passes, and traditional villages — with a planned stop midway for rest and refreshments.

Departure time is adjusted depending on season and conditions:
• Early departure for quieter beach hours
• Later departure for softer afternoon light and fewer midday crowds

Once at Elafonisi, you have extended free time to walk the shallow lagoon, reach the small islet, and swim in the clear water. Your host remains at the parking area and coordinates return timing, allowing you to enjoy the beach independently.

Because natural shade is limited, arrival time is planned either before peak crowds or later in the afternoon when conditions are more comfortable.

On the return route, an optional stop at a simple local taverna can be included if you wish.
