Day 1: Ella / Yala / Ella
Leave for Yala National Park after breakfast; en route, stop at Ravana waterfall. Later, go on an afternoon safari at 2:00 PM. Yala national park is considered one of the best places to witness leopards, elephants and many other wild animals. Overnight stay in Ella.
Day 2: Ella / Nuwara Eliya / Kandy
After breakfast, take the hilly country train from Ella to Nuwara Eliya and enjoy one of the most scenic train journeys in the world. Later, visit a tea plantation, a tea factory, waterfalls, and the Nuwara Eliya old city area. In the evening, visit the Temple of the Tooth Relic and city centre Kandy. Overnight stay in Kandy.
Day 3: Kandy / Sigiriya
After breakfast, drive to the hotel in Sigiriya; en route, stop at the Dambulla golden temple, herbal garden and Hindu temple in matale. Overnight stay in Sigiriya.
Day 4: Sigiriya / Colombo
Early in the morning, enjoy the sunrise hike at Sigiriya rock fortress. After a leisurely breakfast at the hotel, before continuing the journey to Colombo.
