What you can expect

  • Experience one of Guatemala’s most unforgettable adventures on the Epic Pacaya Volcano Hike Tour w/ Pizza and Marshmallows! We are committed to animal welfare through our animal welfare policy and are proud to support the local Pacaya community. A portion of the proceeds from this tour goes towards helping the people and puppies of the Pacaya community.

Begin with convenient hotel or Airbnb pickup in Antigua, followed by a scenic 1.5-hour drive to Pacaya Volcano. Upon arrival, set off on a guided 1-hour hike across lava fields and volcanic trails as you make your way towards breathtaking viewpoints near the summit.

At the top, stop at the Lava Store to discover unique local souvenirs before enjoying a truly unique experience as a local chef cooks fresh pizza using the natural heat of the volcano. Afterwards, roast marshmallows over volcanic vents while taking in sweeping views and dramatic colours across the Guatemalan highlands.

Soak in the atmosphere, capture incredible photos, and learn about Pacaya’s volcanic activity from your guide before beginning the descent. This tour perfectly blends adventure, natural wonders, local experiences, and one-of-a-kind dining for a memorable Guatemalan experience — while also giving back to the community.

Please note: Sunset is only available during the 2:00 PM departure time.
