You will be picked up at your hotel and then begin your journey with a scenic drive along Upolu’s beautiful northeast coast where you will enjoy commentary and interesting information from your guide. Your first stop is Falefa Village, where you’ll pause for photos at the striking Cathedral before continuing through the breathtaking Le Mafa Pass. At 1,700 feet above sea level, this lookout offers sweeping views of the northern shoreline, emerald forests, plantations, and traditional Samoan villages.
Continue on to Sopoaga Botanical Gardens, where you’ll enjoy views of the cascading waterfall and watch a traditional coconut-husking demonstration.
Next, travel to one of Samoa’s most iconic natural wonders — the To Sua Ocean Trench in Lotofaga Village. Surrounded by lush gardens and dramatic coastal scenery, this deep natural swimming hole is a true island highlight. Climb down the ladder for an unforgettable swim, or simply relax and take in the beauty from above and take a leisurely stroll around the tropical gardens.
Afterwards, we head to the lovely white sands of Lalomanu Beach, famous for its crystal-clear water and vibrant marine life. Swim, snorkel, or unwind in one of the shaded fales before enjoying a delicious BBQ lunch right by the sea.
Following lunch, your journey back to Apia takes you through rainforest landscapes, rural plantations, and stunning mountain views. As you descend towards town, enjoy spectacular coastal vistas and a final appreciation of Upolu’s natural beauty.
