Upon arrival in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia’s bustling capital and cultural centre, you will be met by your guide and transferred to your hotel. Depending on your arrival time, enjoy an introduction to Ethiopia’s Christian heritage with visits to the Holy Trinity Cathedral, one of the country’s most important religious landmarks, and the National Museum, home to the famous fossil remains of Lucy. Later, travel to Entoto Hills for panoramic views over the city and a glimpse into Ethiopia’s imperial history. Overnight in Addis Ababa.

Day 2: Addis Ababa – Bahir Dar and Lake Tana Monasteries
