Mount Etna, Europe’s highest active volcano and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, offers a unique opportunity to explore its lunar landscapes and distinctive flora.

Accompanied by expert nature guides, you will embark on an enriching excursion where we’ll unveil the secrets of this fascinating volcano, its eruptions, and its relationship with local inhabitants, flora, and fauna. The tour includes visits to an extinct side crater and walks through both recent and ancient lava fields. Enjoy an easy, panoramic walk along one of Etna’s most scenic trails.

This experience is designed with several stages to showcase the diverse features of the volcano, offering an engaging and informative journey.

Detail of the programme:
• Starting point at 5 PM (departure maybe different according to the sunset time)
• Travel time to the first stop: 45 minutes
• First stop: Visit of ancient side craters
• Second stop (main stop): hike along an Etna trail. Length 2 km loop. Easy Level. At the end of the trail we will wait for the sunset.
• Duration of the excursion 4h including Travel Time.
