What you can expect

  • The Everest Base Camp Helicopter Tour begins at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, where passengers board the helicopter for a scenic journey over the Himalayas. The flight path takes you over iconic locations such as Lukla, Namche Bazaar, and Tengboche, as well as stunning peaks like Ama Dablam, Lhotse, and Nuptse. You will also enjoy a flyover at Everest Base Camp, providing a unique aerial view of this world-renowned site.

The tour lasts approximately 3 to 4 hours from start to finish, ensuring you experience the grandeur of the Everest region without the need for a long trek. The helicopter returns to Tribhuvan International Airport, where the tour concludes. For the best experience, it’s recommended to book during March to May or September to November, when the weather is generally clear.

Passengers should dress warmly, as temperatures at higher altitudes can be cold, and safety briefings are provided before takeoff. The helicopter is operated by experienced pilots, ensuring a safe and comfortable journey. If you have any pre-existing health conditions related to high altitudes, it’s important to consult with a doctor prior to the tour.

Bookings can be made online or through customer service, and in the case of weather-related delays or cancellations, we offer rescheduling or refunds. This helicopter tour is a convenient and memorable way to experience the Everest region in a short amount of time.
