Every Saturday, we meet at 15:30 at a different meeting point around Chania and begin our walk together as a small, friendly group.

Although every route is different, all our walks have one thing in common:
they lead away from mass tourism and into the authentic landscapes of Crete — through olive groves, quiet nature, traditional villages, coastal paths and hidden places that still show the real spirit of the island.

At some point along the walk, the sea is never far away. Whether from mountain viewpoints, village paths or coastal trails, Crete’s landscape and the connection between mountains and sea are always part of the experience.

Each week, the route changes — sometimes we explore traditional villages and old footpaths, sometimes hidden coastal routes, quiet gorges or beautiful natural areas far from the typical tourist places.

Along the way, we take our time to truly experience Crete:
walking, talking, sharing stories, enjoying nature and connecting with people who already live here and know the island beyond the guidebooks.

During the walk, we stop for a relaxed picnic together in nature. Depending on the route and weather, there may also be the possibility for a swim stop at the sea.

This is not an extreme hike.
It is a social, authentic and welcoming local experience — different every Saturday, but always with the same spirit:
good people, beautiful places and the real side of Crete.
