Accompanied by an expert truffle hunter and his trained dogs, you will explore the Umbrian woods in search of the precious “black gold”. You will learn to recognise the different varieties of black truffle, discovering the secrets of the ideal soil and the techniques passed down from generation to generation, which for centuries have made this experience authentic and unique in the world.
After a short introductory briefing, the walk in the woods will begin: an authentic and relaxing moment in which I will personally guide you, sharing stories, traditions, and anecdotes about truffle hunting. Each participant will be involved in the active search — our dogs will do the rest, providing genuine excitement with each discovery.
At the end of the hike, we will reach a magical place at sunset, surrounded by nature. Here, a journey through the flavours of Umbria awaits you: an exclusive food tasting with the artisanal products of our Tre Monti Agriturismo, accompanied by a special live cooking show, where you can see how a real truffle strapazzata is prepared… and enjoy it on the spot, hot and fragrant.
