We cycle for about three hours until we get to Finse.

Finse

Finse is a remote mountain village in Norway, nestled at 1,222 metres above sea level—home to the highest train station in Scandinavia. Accessible only by the scenic Bergen Railway, Finse is a gateway to breathtaking Arctic landscapes, glaciers, and hiking trails. Its unique location and harsh climate make it a popular site for Arctic exploration training, attracting researchers and adventurers. The area is also famous for its role in the filming of “Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back”. We may have time to visit the Rallar Museum before catching the train back to Vatnahalsen.
