Teresa, born and raised in Syracuse, awaits you at home to teach you her family's recipes. During this practical experience, you will prepare three different types of fresh pasta from scratch, using local flours, fresh eggs, and seasonal ingredients. You will learn two types of traditional doughs and three sauces, which can include fresh vegetables, meat, or fresh fish depending on the season.If there are ingredients you don't like, tell Teresa when you book. This is much more than a cooking class. Along the road you will discover insights into local ingredients and processing techniques and the basics of Sicilian cuisine. After cooking, relax and enjoy a fresh local wine and genuine Sicilian hospitality. Participate to a guided tour of the Ortigia Point of Sale, the extra cash cost is €50 per person. If you are looking for a real local experience like cooking at home, this will satisfy you.
