What you can expect

  • Discover the best of Jaipur on a private guided half-day tour. Your licensed local guide choices you up from your hotel and leads you through Amber Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Then visit the Panna Meena stepwell, stop for photos at Jal Mahal, see Hawa Mahal, and finish with a guided walk through the old city. You are then dropped back at your hotel.

    Tour Itinerary

    Amber Fort (guided tour)
Start the day at this UNESCO World Heritage Site. Your guide takes you through the courtyards, palaces and hilltop viewpoints, sharing stories of the Rajput rulers who built and lived here. Arriving early means quieter courtyards and cooler weather.

    Panna Meena Stepwell (guided visit)
A short drive away is this symmetrical stepwell, a favourite with locals. Your guide explains how stepwells collected and stored water, and it's a great spot for photos.

    Jal Mahal (photo stop)
Stop on the Man Sagar Lake shore for views of the Water Palace, which appears to float on the water. This is an exterior photo stop only.

    Hawa Mahal (guided exterior visit)
See the Palace of Winds and its honeycomb facade with 953 windows. Your guide explains why it was designed this way and who it was built for.

Old City Heritage Walk (30-minute guided walk):
End the tour with a guided walk through the old city. Pass historic homes, heritage buildings, traditional markets and the grand city gates, and see daily life in the Pink City as a local would.
