Get ready for an extraordinary snakehead fishing tour on Tonle Sap Lake near Siem Reap, one of Cambodia's most fascinating and fish-rich bodies of water. We will set off early, at 4:00 AM, when the lake is still calm and the chances of encountering active snakeheads are highest. Transport to and from the Floating Village is included in the price, so you can focus entirely on the experience. From there, you will travel by private boat, accompanied by experienced local guides and boatmen, to secluded hotspots on Tonle Sap Lake.
We will fish specifically using topwater lures, which result in spectacular surface bites and intense reel action. All fishing gear, plenty of drinking water, and a freshly prepared lunch are included. As a special highlight, we will experience a catch-and-cook session: the snakeheads we catch will be freshly prepared on the spot and eaten together – it doesn't get more authentic or closer to the local culture than this. After a long, eventful day of fishing, we return at approximately 7:00 PM. The entire tour lasts about 14 hours and combines adventure, nature, authentic predator fishing, and the Cambodian way of life to create an unforgettable experience.
