What you can expect

  • Discover Florence's hillside views and Tuscan flavours on a private 2-hour electric golf cart experience with a driver/host. The tour combines scenic roads, photo stops, short walks and a tasting at Trattoria Omero.

    Meet near Porta Romana and begin with a 10-minute photo stop at Bellosguardo. Continue through the hills to the Villa Galileo area before your food stop at Trattoria Omero, on Via del Pian dei Giullari. Here, the tasting is included according to the option you select when booking.

    CLASSIC FOOD TASTING
    Enjoy a selection of cured meats, bruschetta and one glass of Chianti wine or water at Trattoria Omero.

    GOLD GOURMET FOOD TASTING
    Choose the Gold option for an extended tasting at Trattoria Omero with ribollita, peposo, cantucci and three wine pairings. This menu is included only with the Gold option.

    The panoramic route continues via the Convento di San Matteo area towards San Miniato al Monte and Piazzale Michelangelo. The golf cart stops nearby; the experience includes short walking sections, with approximately 100 metres on foot to reach Piazzale Michelangelo. Take in views of the Duomo, Palazzo Vecchio, the Arno and Florence's skyline.

    The itinerary also includes Arcetri and the exterior of the Medicean Villa of Poggio Imperiale before returning to Porta Romana. Your driver/host provides basic commentary along the way.

    Both options are private and include the panoramic golf cart experience, photo stops, the tasting specified for the option booked and passenger insurance. Extra food and drinks, attraction entrance tickets, hotel pickup and drop-off, personal expenses and optional service charge are excluded.

    Wear comfortable shoes for the walking sections. Arrive 10 minutes before departure and follow the meeting instructions on your voucher. Please tell the operator about allergies or dietary requirements in advance. The tour is not suitable for wheelchair users or people with mobility impairments. Groups may be divided between multiple golf carts, depending on group size and vehicle availability.
