Learn to cook like an Italian with a hands-on cooking class in the heart of Florence. Whether you’re a food lover, a curious traveller, or just someone who wants to experience something memorable, this class offers an authentic taste of Italy through two of its most iconic dishes: fresh handmade pasta and classic tiramisù.
PLEASE NOTE: CLASSES WILL BE CONDUCTED IN ENGLISH, EVEN IF GUESTS CAN BOOK IN DIFFERENT LANGUAGES.
Led by a professional local chef, this immersive experience teaches you how to create traditional Italian recipes from scratch using fresh, seasonal ingredients. Begin by exploring the essentials of pasta making — from mixing and kneading the dough, to shaping tagliatelle, ravioli, or fettuccine, depending on the day’s menu. Discover how texture, flour type, and simple techniques make all the difference.
After making the pasta, your chef will guide you through every step of preparing a perfect tiramisù — layer by layer. Learn how to create a light and creamy mascarpone filling, soak the biscuits to the right consistency, and balance flavours to achieve that unmistakable Italian taste. Want to put your own twist on it? Your chef will show you some creative variations, too.
As the aromas fill the kitchen, pair the cooking experience with a curated tasting of Italian wines — selected to complement the dishes being prepared. It’s more than a class; it’s a celebration of food, culture, and connection.
By the end of the session, sit down to enjoy the fruits of your labour in a warm and friendly atmosphere. Share stories, laughs, and a homemade Italian meal with fellow travellers from around the world — turning strangers into friends around the table.
No prior cooking experience is needed. Welcome everyone: solo travellers, couples, families, and groups. The class is designed to be approachable and enjoyable, whether you're a beginner or a seasoned cook. The goal is simple — to help you bring a piece of Italy home with you, both in your heart and in your kitchen.
Your experience includes hands-on instruction from a professional chef, all fresh ingredients for pasta and tiramisù, use of kitchen tools and apron during class, wine tasting (with non-alcoholic options available), a full sit-down meal of your creations, a digital recipe booklet, and a certificate of participation.
