What you can expect

    • On our shared service from Flores Island, Petén, Guatemala, to San Ignacio, Belize, we arrive at the Belize Go meeting point at 6:00 a.m.
    • We will be waiting for you with our transport vehicle, clearly identified with our Belize Go sign.
    • Our staff will check tickets against the manifest (list of passengers travelling) and we will board the vehicle.
    • Immigration forms will be handed out for entry into Belize, and information will be provided about how the trip will work.
    • We will drive for about two and a half hours until we reach the border between Guatemala and Belize.
    • At the border, you will need to get off the bus and collect your luggage, as passport and luggage checks are mandatory.
    • Immigration and Customs procedures are carried out individually. The procedures take approximately 30 minutes (depending on the number of travellers).
    • At the border, we will find shops where we can buy drinks and snacks.
      *First, we complete the formalities at Guatemalan Immigration. Afterwards, we walk about 100 metres and arrive at Belizean Immigration.
    • Once the immigration and customs formalities are completed, we will board our transport vehicle again and drive for approximately 30 minutes to reach our destination, San Ignacio, Belize.
    • In San Ignacio, we can drop you off at hotels in the town centre, such as Yellow Belly Hostel, Old House, Bellas Backpacker, and Matus Guest House.
