This full day tour begins very early in the morning with pickup from your hotel in Lima around 3:30 a.m. in a comfortable private tourist vehicle. We’ll head south along the Panamericana Highway, passing through coastal valleys, desert landscapes, and small towns until we reach the city of Nazca.
Upon arrival at the local airfield, you’ll receive a brief safety briefing before boarding a small aircraft equipped with individual headsets and panoramic windows. During the 35 minute flight, you'll get a clear aerial view of up to 12 of the most iconic and mysterious figures etched into the desert over 1,500 years ago, including the Whale, Trapezoids, Astronaut, Monkey, Dog, Condor, Spider, Hummingbird, Alcatraz (or Flamingo), Parrot, Hands, and Tree.
These ancient geoglyphs can only be fully appreciated from the sky, and your pilot will point out each one as you fly over, offering a safe, educational, and visually breathtaking experience.
After the flight, you’ll have free time to enjoy lunch at a local restaurant (not included) and relax before beginning the return journey to Lima. The trip back follows the same scenic route, and arrival in the city is expected around 10:00 p.m., depending on traffic. For your convenience, we’ll drop you off directly at your hotel, ending a day filled with history, wonder, and a privileged view of one of Peru’s greatest mysteries.
