Overview

This is a kagura tradition experience programme where you can learn the ``Buzen Iwato Kagura'' inherited from Usa City, Oita Prefecture, over a 5-day stay.

On this trip, you will be able to experience and learn Kagura, which is normally performed only by local Kagura performers.

On the final day, there was an announcement about the dedication of Kagura at a local shrine, and while practising daily in preparation for the presentation, we conducted fieldwork and trails in Oita, a special area of syncretism between Shinto and Buddhism. This tour allows you to experience life as a teacher. Those who complete the course up to the last day will receive an official Aso Kagurasha certificate of completion.

Through the world of Kagura, you can experience the deep spirituality of Japan since ancient times more closely and play a role in passing down the culture.
