What you can expect

  • Tour Costa da Morte and Cape Finisterre on this day trip from Coruña. Follow a route storied with lighthouses, shipwrecks, and legends. Learn about the region's history and be charmed by the Galician coast.

Depart from A Coruña and head to one of the most special places on Costa da Morte, Cabo Vilan. Listen to your guide as they talk about the lighthouse's mystical traits characterised by its steep cape and the shipwrecks that have taken place there.

Afterwards, head to the Sanctuary of the Virgen de la Barca in Muxía. This sanctuary is intimately linked with Galician culture, the sailors and people of the sea, as well as the Celts. Spend time getting to know the sanctuary as you tour its grounds.

From Virgen de la Barca continue on to Finisterre, also referred to as the end of the world. See why the Celts, Romans, and pilgrims came to this place for thousands of years. Hear its legends, stories, and naval battles before breaking for lunch.

Go into the town of Finisterre to enjoy the local cuisine at one of its various restaurants. After lunch, head to Ézaro Waterfall, a place of natural, scenic beauty.
