What you can expect

  • Discover the beauty of the Netherlands with a guided day trip from Amsterdam to Giethoorn. With our Giethoorn Express you will arrive in approximatly 1 hour and 20 minutes, at the famous 'Venice of the North'. This charming, car-free village is known for its peaceful canals, beautiful wooden bridges, and traditional thatched-roof houses.

The tour includes comfortable transport from Amsterdam. As soon as we arrive, we head to our boat from Henri Willig. The boat is located right next to the Henri Willig Cheese store, where you can taste a wide range of authentic Dutch cheeses before we start our canal cruise.

Take perfect photos of this beautiful village while one of our experienced skippers tells you everything about the local history, culture, and daily life of the villagers. After the boat tour, you’ll have time to walk around and explore the local cafés, special shops, and lovely gardens of Giethoorn.

Whether you love nature, photography, or are simply looking for a relaxing trip outside the city, this day trip to Giethoorn is an experience you won’t forget.
