After pick you up at your hotel in Amsterdam, at the cruiseship, airport or Passenger Terminal or any other agreed upon location in central Amsterdam, we head for Central Station
In case you do encounter problems with walking we will take the bus to a stop very closeby (within 250 yards) from the entrance of the small village where the windmills are situated
In case everyone of your party is able to walk well we might take the train instead. The train is faster and there is a nice view from the bridge towards the windmills. The walk from the station to the village is around 2/3 of a mile
At the windmillcomplex it is possible to visit the interior of 2 windmills. Entrance fees are not included in the tour price (5 euro per person).
There are a cheese and wooden shoe factury at the village as well. It is free to watch how they make cheese and wooden shoes
This Private Tour (only your group, allthough we will take public transport) takes 3 to 4 hours.
This is the closest by complex of windmills with the option to enter one near Amsterdam. You will get to see some for the Western part of The Netherlands classic countryside as well.
