What you can expect

Embark on a pleasant bike ride through the countryside of the Chilina Valley, visiting the districts of Cayma and Alto Selva Alegre. Enjoy the impressive views of the Misti Volcano, Chachani, and Pichu Pichu.

Begin your tour by leaving the Historic Centre of Arequipa, ascending by the Tourist Hotel, Military College “Francisco Bolognesi,” to cross the Chilli River by the bridge of the “Casa de Retiro” of Chilina. Continue the route along a path and then make a stop at the “Mirador de Carmen Alto” of the Traditional Area of Acequia Alta.

Continue your tour to the “Santuario de la Virgen de Chapi” of Charcani. Enjoy an impressive view of the Misti Volcano, Chachani, and Pichu Pichu. The descent is made by a beautiful path only for mountain bikes.

Arrive at the Army Casino and then return to the Centre of Arequipa.
