What you can expect

  • Your journey begins at 7:00 AM with a comfortable4x4 in Arequipa as we head towards the stunning Majes Valley. Our first stop is the world-renowned Toro Muerto Petroglyphs, considered the largest volcanic rock art site in the Americas. Marvel at thousands of ancient carvings—ranging between 3,000 and 5,000 volcanic boulders—engraved with fascinating representations of animals, dancers, and geometric symbols by pre-Inca civilisations.
    Next, we travel to the nearby town of Huancarqui to unwind at the Huancarqui miracle waters. Take a refreshing dip in these natural, mineral-rich thermal pools known for their medicinal properties while enjoying a relaxing drink surrounded by scenic desert landscapes.
    To top off the day, we visit a local vineyard along the famous Pisco Route. Experience an authentic tasting of three varieties of premium local wines and Piscos, followed by a delicious lunch featuring the region's famous fresh river prawns (camarones).
    After a rich day of history, relaxation, and gastronomy, we start our scenic drive back, arriving in Arequipa at approximately 6:00 PM.
