Embark on a 5-day safari adventure from Arusha to Zanzibar. Explore the Tarangire National Park, Ngorongoro Crater, and Lake Eyasi. Then, head to Zanzibar to snorkel at Mnemba Reef and explore Stone Town.
DAY 1: Arusha – Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, your safari guide will pick you up and then drive to Tarangire National Park. Enjoy the beautiful views of the local villages and Maasai herds on the way. Once you arrive at the park, start the game drive. Tarangire is famous for its large elephant population. Have lunch at the picnic site in the park and in the afternoon, after lunch continue the game drive. At the end of the day, slowly drive out of the park and head to Karatu for dinner and overnight.
DAY 2: Ngorongoro Conservation Area -Karatu
After breakfast, depart with lunch boxes, today you’ll visit Ngorongoro Crater, one of the most beautiful natural sights in Africa, a place where you’ll experience otherworldly beauty with extraordinary wildlife. Down below on the crater floor, explore a lost world preserved in a state of pristine isolation, one that shelters lions and hyenas, elephants and black rhinos, flamingos, and golden jackals. There are also forests, hippo-filled lakes, a salt pan, and hyena dens, and you’ll never lose the sense that you’ve stumbled into a safari theme park where everything’s wild. You will have your lunch in lunch boxes where you will eat at the picnic area inside the park while enjoying the magnificent view of the Ngorongoro landscape. Later you will drive to lodge/camp for Dinner and an overnight stay.
DAY 3: Lake Eyasi -Zanzibar
After breakfast, drive to Lake Eyas for a half-day cultural experience. Visit the Datoga and Hadzabe tribe. In the afternoon, drive back to Arusha where your safari adventure will come to an end. Your safari guide will drive you straight to Arusha Airport for your onward flight to Zanzibar.
DAY 4: Zanzibar - Mnemba Island
This is a Sharing trip from Nungwi to Mnemba where you will start with the Dolphin Tour then snorkel at Mnemba Reef and also go to the Sandbank when it is available because it can be fully covered during the high tide. Mnemba Island was ranked #1 Best Beach Destination in Africa by Trip Savvy and is well known for the excellent clarity of its waters (for this area of the Indian Ocean) and the unusually prolific and diverse corals and tropical marine life where you can see a lot of colourful fishes while Snorkelling.
DAY 5: Stone Town and Spice Farm tour – Departure
Discover Zanzibar’s aromatic history on a half-day walking tour of Stone Town, setting out on foot so you can see Stone Town’s narrow, car-free streets and atmospheric corners. After convenient pickup at Zanzibar hotels, you’ll cover some of Stone Town’s highlights, from colonial landmarks to the Old Fort, the house where Freddy Mercury was born, and an Anglican Cathedral that marks the former site of a slave market.
After this amazing experience, you will be departing back home.
