Day 1
We will pick you up from Ayers Rock Resort at approximately 1:30 PM, or we can arrange to pick you up at the airport (subject to flight arrival details).
We’ll then head to the Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park, where you’ll have the opportunity to take short walks around the base of the magnificent Uluru, immersing yourself in the sacred traditions and stories of the Anangu people.
One of the day’s highlights will be sipping drinks and savouring a BBQ while watching the sunset on Uluru—a truly unforgettable experience.
After the sun has dipped below the horizon, you’ll be taken to the Outback Pioneer Hotel for your overnight stay, where you can relax and reflect on your first day of this remarkable journey.
Day 2
Today begins with an early start, but the experience will be truly rewarding! Enjoy a breathtaking sunrise view of Uluru with a cup of coffee or tea to kickstart your day. After sunrise, we’ll return to your hotel for breakfast.
After breakfast, we’ll set out to explore Kata Tjuta, where you’ll enjoy a leisurely walk through Walpa Gorge and take in the spectacular views from the site’s viewing platform. Afterwards, we’ll return to the resort, giving you time to purchase lunch.
In the afternoon, we’ll continue our journey to Kings Canyon Resort, located in Watarrka National Park, where you’ll enjoy dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 3
After breakfast, we’ll set off on a guided Kings Canyon Rim Walk, one of the Northern Territory’s most spectacular hiking experiences. This rewarding trail showcases the towering red cliffs, sandstone domes of the Lost City, and the lush oasis of the Garden of Eden.
Afterwards, enjoy a relaxing afternoon at Kings Canyon Resort, where you’ll have the opportunity to purchase lunch at your leisure and book optional experiences such as scenic helicopter flights or the mesmerising Light-Towers installation.
In the evening, sit back and unwind with an included dinner before settling in for the night at the resort.
Day 4
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast before joining a gentle Kings Creek Bed Walk, offering a different perspective of Kings Canyon’s stunning landscape. After your walk, check out of the resort and take some time to purchase lunch at your own expense before we begin our journey back to Alice Springs.
We’ll arrive in Alice Springs at approximately 5:30 pm, marking the end of your unforgettable 4-day adventure through the Red Centre.
