Begin your journey at the K. Kolbaev Tunnel, the first high-altitude tunnel in Central Asia, cut through rock at an altitude of over 3,000 metres. Travel along the famous zigzags of the Kara-Balta Gorge, with views from the car window changing from deep rocky canyons to icy peaks.

From the Too-Ashuu Pass, take in a breathtaking view of the Chuya Valley. Continue to the Sulutor Lakes, completely hidden from view by passing cars. These are places rarely visited by mass tourists-here you'll hear only the sound of the wind and the whistling of marmots.

Enjoy a rest stop by two mirror-like lakes. This is the perfect moment to take CGI-looking shots and simply enjoy the here and now. Take a walk along the Kozhomkul trail. According to legend, it was here that the great Kyrgyz hero, demonstrating incredible strength, carried his horse on his shoulders to save it from a difficult pass.

The most observant participants will be able to discover authentic petroglyphs on the rocks. These rock carvings hold the centuries-old secrets of the ancestors who chose these harsh places for their rituals.

Admire the lakes' water, which has a characteristic steel-blue hue. This “living” glacial water never warms above 5°C to 7°C even in summer, maintaining its pristine purity.
