The day begins with a visit to the Checua Desert, an impressive high Andean dry forest located in the Nemocon mountains. Here you can walk along trails surrounded by gullies, estoraques, and rock formations sculpted by thousands of years of erosion. Depending on the experience you select, you can go on guided hikes of different distances and levels, accompanied by local guides who will share information about the geology, biodiversity, and history of this unique territory.

Later, you'll have the opportunity to visit the iconic Nemocón Salt Mine, one of the most important attractions in Colombia. Likewise, lunch is not included in the base price of the sightseeing tour. During the day, there will be a stop so that travellers can enjoy the local cuisine at one of the restaurants in the area. Guests will be completely free to choose what they eat and drink, and each participant will pay for their own meal, allowing them to select the menu of their choice according to their tastes and budget.
