Arrive at the entrance of the protected park and begin your hike through a vibrant forest at 2,600 metres above sea level. Along the trail, learn about native plants and wildlife, breathe in the crisp mountain air, and connect with the tranquil rhythms of the surrounding landscape. Depending on the season, you may spot colourful birds or hear the rustle of hidden creatures among the trees.
Based on trail conditions or guide recommendations, you’ll either visit El Chiflón first, a charming waterfall tucked into the green folds of the jungle; or head directly to La Chorrera, Colombia’s tallest waterfall, plunging 590 metres down a towering cliff. Even during dry seasons, the majestic views and serenity of the forest make the journey deeply rewarding.
Once you've soaked in the scenery, enjoy a hearty lunch before returning to Bogotá; feeling refreshed, inspired, and more connected to Colombia’s natural beauty and cultural richness.
