What you can expect

Begin with pickup from the meeting point in Bucharest and head to Slănic Prahova Salt Mine, the largest in Europe. The mine is the result of the excavation of 2.9 million m3 of salt deposits.

Inside the mine, discover the salt lake and the waterfall which you can admire from the bridge. With a maximum depth of the mine is 217 m and some chambers that are 55 m high, the total area of the mine is approximately 80,000 m2.

Visit the mine museum to learn more about its history and discover various exhibitions with equipment that has been used in the mine throughout the years. Afterwards, return to the original meeting point.
