Day 1: Cusco – Huayopata Valley – Tea Route
7:00 AM – We'll pick you up from your hotel in Cusco
We'll kick off the adventure with a scenic drive through the Sacred Valley of the Incas, surrounded by towering Andean mountains.
Climb the Andes (4,316 metres above sea level)
During the journey, we'll stop at a high point with stunning views to take photos and observe the changing ecosystems.
Andean-Amazonian lunch
When you arrive in the Huayopata Valley, you'll enjoy a typical lunch prepared with fresh local products, a mixture of flavours from the mountains and the jungle.
Valley Hike – Tea Route
Explore tea plantations and learn about the cultivation, harvest, and varieties of Peruvian tea (green, black, and white), guided by local producers.
Visit an artisanal processing plant
Discover how tea is transformed in a traditional way and take part in a guided tasting to try the different varieties:

Sunset cloud forest hike
Enjoy an eco-hike to observe the area's biodiversity. Hopefully, you'll be able to spot nocturnal birds and small wild mammals in their natural habitat.
Day 2: Coffee and Chocolate – Back to Cusco
Tropical birdwatching
Start the day with a morning walk through the rainforest, where you can observe exotic birds such as the cock-of-the-rock, Peru's national bird, and other tropical species from the high jungle.
Local breakfast
Enjoy a nutritious breakfast with fresh fruits, coffee, and typical products from the valley, prepared by local families.
Artisanal Coffee Route
Learn about the entire coffee process, from harvesting and pulping to traditional drying and roasting. Learn how the bean is transformed into a quality drink and prepare your own cup of freshly ground coffee.
Traditional community lunch
Enjoy a second local lunch, made with fresh ingredients and authentic flavours by the families of the valley. A perfect moment to share and give thanks.
Artisanal Chocolate Route
Join in the cocoa harvest and the artisanal process of making cocoa paste. Learn ancient techniques that have been passed down for generations.
Chocolate tasting
Try high-quality artisanal bars and cocoa paste, made by local families with fine aroma cocoa, in a natural and warm environment.
Head back to Cusco
Head back along the route of the Sacred Valley of the Incas, with incredible views to round off this unforgettable experience. Arrive in Cusco in the afternoon, with your heart full of learning, flavours, and authentic connections with Andean rural life.
