Depart from Hanoi early in the morning and begin your journey to the peaceful mountains of Northwest Vietnam. Travel by private vehicle, passing through breathtaking landscapes, including rolling green hills, sprawling rice terraces, and small villages nestled among the mountains.
Arrive in Sapa around midday and stop at a local restaurant to enjoy a traditional lunch. Refuel for the upcoming adventures with Northwest specialities such as mountain trout, local pork, fresh vegetables, and herbal dishes, all prepared with fresh ingredients and authentic flavours.

In the evening, visit Sapa Night Market, a cultural highlight of the region. Explore a variety of street foods, from grilled skewers and sticky rice cakes to sweet soups and local drinks. The night market is also perfect for shopping handcrafted items such as scarves, hats, and embroidered bags made by ethnic minority groups, ideal for souvenirs or gifts.
After exploring the market, return to your hotel for a restful night, preparing for the next day’s adventure to the highest peak in Indochina.
On the second day, after breakfast at the hotel and checking out, travel to the Fansipan cable car station. Take the scenic cable car and monorail ride to the summit of Fansipan – the Roof of Indochina (3,143 metres). Along the way, enjoy stunning views of the Hoang Lien Son mountain range, deep valleys, and small villages tucked into the mountains.
At the summit, explore the temple complex, which emerges among the clouds and provides a serene and spiritual atmosphere. It is an ideal spot for taking panoramic photos and enjoying the breathtaking scenery from above. Walk around the area, visit the Buddha statues, ceremonial gates, bell towers, and stone stairways leading to different viewpoints, creating a rich experience of both exploration and reflection. After the visit, return to Sapa town for lunch, enjoy the flavours of the Northwest mountains before boarding the vehicle back to Hanoi.
