Depart from Forio and discover Procida, the smallest of the Phlegraean Islands, on a full-day boat tour with swimming stops, lunch on board, and free time to explore the island.
Before reaching Procida, you will also admire an important part of Ischia from the sea. We will sail along the northern coast, from west to east, passing Lacco Ameno and continuing towards the Aragonese Castle, one of the most iconic landmarks of the island. Along the way, you will enjoy beautiful views of bays, seaside villages, and the Ischian coastline.
The first swimming stop will take place in Lacco Ameno or near the Aragonese Castle, depending on sea and weather conditions. If possible, we may stop in the bay of San Montano or in another sheltered spot. All swimming stops are chosen carefully on the day of the tour to offer a pleasant and safe experience.
During the first stop, an aperitif will be served on board with local flavours, house wine, and drinks. We will then continue towards Procida, famous for its colourful houses, small harbours, fishing villages, and authentic atmosphere.
Once near Procida, you will admire Vivara, the small islet connected to the island and protected as a natural reserve, and Marina Corricella, the most iconic seaside village of Procida. With its pastel-colored houses overlooking the sea, Corricella is one of the most beautiful and photographed views of the island. Procida was also named Italian Capital of Culture in 2022.
The second swimming stop is planned near Corricella. If sea conditions do not allow it, we will sail to the western side of Procida and stop in the bay of Ciraccio, a charming and relaxing area.
In total, 3 or 4 swimming stops are planned between Ischia and Procida. The exact number may vary depending on the sea, navigation time, and the group’s preferences. Before returning to Forio, another swimming stop is planned to end the day with one last relaxing moment at sea.
After one of the stops in Procida, lunch will be served on board, inspired by Neapolitan and Mediterranean cuisine. It will be a relaxed and convivial moment surrounded by the colours and atmosphere of the island.
After lunch, we will disembark at Marina Grande, the main port and the heart of Procida. You will have about 1 hour and 30 minutes of free time to explore on your own. You can walk through the historic centre, reach Terra Murata, admire Palazzo d’Avalos from the outside, or enjoy the breathtaking view of Marina Corricella from above.
Guests who prefer a more comfortable visit can also join a taxi tour by land, available for an extra cost of €15 per person.
At the end of the free time, we will return on board and sail back towards Ischia, after a day filled with sea, landscapes, local flavours, and authentic places.
