09:30 AM: Arrive at Sigiriya, the awe-inspiring 5th-century fortress built by King Kashyapa. Towering 660 feet, this UNESCO World Heritage Site, also known as Lion’s Rock (Sinhagiri), boasts breathtaking panoramic views. Climb 1,200 steps to explore its ancient ruins, including the iconic lion’s paws, stunning frescoes, and the ingenious water garden irrigation system.
