What you can expect

  • Begin your adventure with a convenient pickup from your accommodation or meet your guide at Halo Tor Tao Excursion. Join a national park ranger and a local guide from the village of Tor Tao, who will lead you on a trek through the rainforest.

    Hike for 2-3 hours, depending on weather conditions and the selected route. Along the way, experience the local way of life in Suratthani province. Pass through a coal-making area, plantations, an education centre focused on sustainable living, and if the timing permits, watch trained monkeys helping villagers collect coconuts for coconut milk or oil, a unique sight you won’t find in the tourist areas of the national park.

    Enjoy a packed meal during or after your trek, and feel free to bring additional snacks if needed.
