About Munnar.
Munnar, nestled in the Western Ghats of Kerala, is a picturesque hill station known for its rolling tea plantations, misty mountains, and cool climate. Perched at around 1,600 metres above sea level, it offers a refreshing escape from the plains. The landscape is dotted with lush greenery, winding roads, waterfalls, and valleys. Popular attractions include Eravikulam National Park, home to the endangered Nilgiri Tahr, Mattupetty Dam, Tea Museum, and Top Station, which provides panoramic views of the Western Ghats. Munnar is also ideal for trekking, plantation walks, and exploring spice gardens, making it a favourite among nature lovers and honeymooners.
About Periyar
Periyar, located in Thekkady, Kerala, is famous for the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary—a rich haven for wildlife and one of India’s most popular reserves. Centred around the scenic Periyar Lake, formed by the Mullaperiyar Dam, the sanctuary offers opportunities for boat cruises where one can spot elephants, gaur, sambar deer, and a variety of bird species. The area is also known for nature walks, bamboo rafting, border hiking, and visits to spice plantations. Periyar is as much about adventure and wildlife as it is about serene natural beauty, making it a must-visit destination for eco-tourism and wildlife enthusiasts.

Day 01: Kochi – Munnar (Approx. 130 km / 04 hrs.)
Pickup from Kochi Airport / Hotel. Drive through the scenic Western Ghats with waterfalls and spice plantations en route. On arrival in Munnar, check in to the hotel. Afternoon visit: Tea Museum, Blossom Park, Pothamedu View Point.
Evening free for leisure and a stroll through Munnar town/market.
Overnight stay in Munnar.

Day 02: Munnar Sightseeing – Periyar/Thekkady (Approx. 100 km / 03 hrs.)
Morning after breakfast, visit: Eravikulam National Park (Rajamalai) – home to Nilgiri Tahr. (Optional - Ticket is not included)
Mattupetty Dam & Lake – option for boating.
Echo Point & Kundala Lake.
Later proceed to Periyar (Thekkady), a scenic drive through cardamom hills and spice plantations. On arrival Thekkady check -in at the hotel.
Evening enjoy Kathakali dance show or Kalaripayattu (martial arts) performance
Overnight stay in Periyar/Thekkady.

Day 03: Periyar Sightseeing – Kochi (Approx. 155 km / 4.5 hrs)
Early morning boat cruise on Periyar Lake to spot elephants, deer, and birds.
activities: Spice Plantation visit.
later proceed for Kochi, on arrival Kochi drop at Airport / Railway Station for onward journey.
