Discover some of South America's most extraordinary landscapes on this unforgettable 4-day adventure from La Paz, Bolivia, to San Pedro de Atacama, Chile. Travel across the world's largest salt flat, encounter thousands of flamingos in colourful high-altitude lagoons, relax in natural hot springs, and explore the spectacular landscapes of the Bolivian Altiplano—all while travelling comfortably with an experienced local guide.
Day 1 – Overnight Journey to Uyuni
Your adventure begins in La Paz, where you'll board a comfortable overnight tourist bus to Uyuni. Relax during the journey with onboard amenities including dinner, breakfast, bottled water, a hot drink, heating, Wi-Fi, toilet facilities, and polar blanket.
Day 2 – Uyuni Salt Flats & Incahuasi Island
Bus arrives in Uyuni at 7:00 AM.
Upon arrival, our team will welcome you and take you to a nearby café, where you can enjoy breakfast or relax during your free time.
At 10:00 AM, our staff will escort you from the café to our office for check-in.
The 4x4 tour to Uyuni Salt Flats departs promptly at 10:30 AM.
Visit the historic Train Cemetery, explore the village of Colchani, and discover traditional salt processing before driving onto the endless white expanse of the world's largest salt flat.
Stop at Salt Hotel Museum, the Dakar Monument, and the colourful Flags of the World before reaching Incahuasi Island, where giant cacti and breathtaking panoramic views create one of Bolivia's most iconic landscapes.
End the day by watching the sunset over the salt flats while enjoying a glass of wine and chips before travelling to your accommodation in Atulcha.
Day 3 – Flamingos, Altiplano & Red Lagoon
Travel through the spectacular scenery of the Bolivian Altiplano, visiting the beautiful lagoons of Cañapa, Hedionda, home to graceful flamingos and unique Andean wildlife.
After lunch, continue across the Siloli Desert to the famous Stone Tree, then visit Red Lagoon (Laguna Colorada), one of Bolivia's most spectacular natural attractions and an important habitat for thousands of flamingos.
Dinner and overnight accommodation are provided in Huayllajara.
Day 4 – Geysers, Hot Springs & San Pedro de Atacama
Experience the geothermal wonders of Sol de Mañana, where steaming fumaroles and bubbling mud pools showcase the powerful volcanic activity of the Andes.
Relax in the natural Polques Hot Springs before crossing the surreal Salvador Dalí Desert to admire the stunning Green Lagoon, White Lagoon, and the majestic Licancabur Volcano.
Your guide will assist you with the Bolivia–Chile border crossing before your shared transfer continues to San Pedro de Atacama, arriving at approximately 1:30 PM. The tour concludes at the town's main square.
